I have a harley sportster 1200 v 2012 and this quality seat fit perfectly and now I feel I am a part of the bike as it drops one down about an inch and back about a inch or more, enabling me to stretch my legs better on the forward controls. Quality base with thick rubber grommets to prevent any vibration against metal, and it fit like a glove. Perfect simple installation. The grommet and clip was a real plus. Installation less than 3 minutes. I am sold on this company now. My first mustang seat. The harley seat made me feel I was riding on the handlebars, no lumbar support and made cheap with a cheap base and slippery material seating . The Mustang grips you in the seat and I love that. No more sliding back on takeoff. Mustang is the best.I have a 2020 Harley-Davidson 883 Iron and this is a perfect solo seat ( back seat is a option )so much better then stock and got faster from Amazon then the other bike placesbought this to replace the one that came stock on my 2007 883R. MUCH better feel and look. stock one had ridge that rode right on tail bone, so far this one is great. will expand after long ride on this one.FYI, this seat does indeed fit the XL1200CX, Roadster. Got it delivered in less than a week, and it fits beautifully.. The ride is very different from the stock Roadster 2-up seat. The added reach allows me to put my feet down, behind the footpegs, as opposed to directly over the top of them. Install was very simple, and I got the passenger pillion to match. I have a 2005 sportster and it did not solve my butt pain problems. It was very similar in riding position to the seat on my fiancé's 2011 iron 883. We both had them on our bikes and she did not notice a large improvement in comfort over her stock seat either.
