Use this with for mindfulness with students....just not very loudGreat attention grabber for the classroom with out using your voice.This was wonderful for my classroom!I suppose this is for personal use only because the loudness is not as I hoped it would be for my full class. It still does attract my students' attention, albeit on the third or fourth try. I like having this around for my to use personally and with my students, as well.Meh. Wanted to put this on my desk as a focus bell. But, and these are details, the bells are crooked, not lining up with the groves in the board. It's a glaring misalignment that makes me want to hide it away. Also, the center bell is dull in luster relative to the outer two bells.I don't see any way to adjust the horizontal positions of the bells. The strings appear to be tied around the bells.It'll probably go to Goodwill in the next household purge.-----------Update. Upgrading to 3 stars. I could use the dowel handle of the "hammer" and lay it next to the misaligned bells and roll it (the dowel) against the bell and move it horizontally and get it aligned properly. I was not able, as previously mentioned, to move the bell bars by hand.The center bell still has a different finish that the others. I might get out the Dremel tool with a buffer to see if I can fix that, too.This 3 tone chime arrived in perfect condition, sounds lovely and is sturdy. I lead my entire school in a guided meditation over the loudspeaker every morning, so this chime gets a lot of use. It has held up very well. I can see this lasting many years. I would have given 5 stars except that the plain unfinished mallet that came with this chime does not sound as good as the black mallet I received the single note chime that I also own. So I use the black mallet instead.The wand is cheap wood. My students will never hear this chime. I ordered one and it never arrived. I ordered a 2nd one and now the sound is so low, this won't work.I use this during transitions in my kindergarten class. It is sturdy, makes a beautiful sound, and the kids respond to it super well. I have been using it every school day for the past 6 months and it still looks brand new. I anticipate it lasting a long time.
