Hi, Everyone. i fiddle around with lots of guitar projects and I've bought this Oxford high gloss clear nitro finish several times on Ebay. It's actually cheaper here on Amazon, still coming from Solo Guitars in Ontario. Dries to a finish quickly and settles properly on the body, nice flat smooth shiny. Way better than most stuff at hardware store. Because it dries fast, you can do a light coat, go back soon and do another. If careful, won't get all those sags and stuff from regular varnish. There may be better stuff available from around the world, but I'm not buying it. No, this Oxford stuff is great. It's not the same as getting a guitar professionally painted of course, but not too shabby for DIY.
